Q2) How do you determine an aggregate’s pitch? A2) Simple answer: excite (disturb its equilibrium) the aggregate and record its responses. Again think in terms of tuning a guitar or piano string. Pluck or strike (excite) the string and measure its response. Same for any other shape except those incapable of acoustic vibration such as liquids and powders. Acoustic Resonance Testing (ART) is a new non-destructive testing method that allows rapid and inexpensive 100% testing of a wide range of work-pieces. It relies on the well-known physical effect that a body, after suitable excitation (e. g. through impact), oscillates at certain characteristic modes and frequencies (its natural or resonant frequencies).

These oscillations are, so to speak, the specimen’s “language” (or its “fingerprint”): they can be measured with a microphone (airborne sound) or a laser vibrometer (body sound).

The specimen’s geometry determines the number of its natural frequencies: a rod has few whilst a complex work-piece has many such frequencies.

Typically, the information that can be obtained by acoustic resonance analysis includes cracks, structural properties, cavities, layer separation, chipping, density fluctuations etc. Damping behaviour depends firstly on the material, and secondly, on how the specimen is positioned during its excitation. In order to achieve high frequency resolution, signal duration (“ringing duration”) should be as long as possible (> 50 ms)."

Keely "The mass chord of any mass is that lowest or fundamental vibration to which that mass is resonant.

"As every mass consists of vibrations in thirds, balanced inharmonic equilibrium, it stands in harmonic relation to every other mass. All forms of matter and motion are thus interrelated and mutually convertible, one into the other, and through resonance, increasing or diminishing this sympathy, we can control the states of matter." [Keely]

"In his researches Keely discovered a system of obtaining the "chord of mass" or keynote of all substances, whether mineral, vegetable or animal. He does not give or even hint at the method by which this was obtained, and it is supposed this is the "one detail" which he kept secret until his one patentable invention was to have been completed.

"Every molecule in nature represents the same chord. Any variations appearing in the mass chords of different substances are caused by non-uniformity of molecular groupings (non-uniform plus molecular aggregates). If all masses were homogeneous in molecular groupings the mass chords of all substances would respond to the same resonant impulses.

"Every molecule contained in a homogeneous mass has the same harmonic oscillatory motion, which is the "chord of the mass" governed by the mass aggregation and the mass form. The "chord of the mass" is therefore the fundamental frequency of every molecule of the mass". This means that the molecule of iron in a ball bearing 1/16th inch in diameter has a different vibrational frequency than a molecule in a ball bearing 1/2 inch in diameter. It also has a bearing on crystallization forms and the variation in molecular groupings in bodies of elements, with the resultant differentiation in different masses of any one element due to different plus molecular aggregates, even although perfectly homogeneous as far as chemistry can determine.

"The molecular state of animal, vegetable and mineral matter depends upon the aggregation of their respective chord centers. It is impossible to make two coins from the same die the same in their molecular aggregation. To produce vibratory devices will require instruments more perfect than any now in existence. One of my perfected instruments shows to the eye the 'molecular effects' produced by the chord of harmony between two neutral centers. Another, connected with the "sympathizer" denotes accurately by the color of the sound (or sound combination) the number of vibrations necessary to induce `certain mechanical combination effects'."

"No condition of absolutely stable equilibrium exists in Nature. The chord of the mass changes, yet we must, through induction of resonance, learn to control the molecular forces. Keely claims to have solved this problem by the invention of a device - his "compound mechanical device" - which brings the chords of all masses within the conditions of a few simple acoustic tests.

"If I wish to disturb or bring into action the latent force in any molecular mass, I must first find what the `harmonic chord' or `mass chord' (the fundamental note) of its mass represents - and no two masses are alike. It would seem that this necessitates an infinite number of variations (entirely different scale of resonators) for different masses, but this is not the case. All masses can be resonated by the "compound mechanical device" (resonating spheres, each of which acts as a "sympathizer") which I use for the purpose, which fulfill one general condition and resonate all masses.

"To illustrate "chord of mass sympathy" Keely filled a glass chamber 40 inches high with water and placed in it three metal spheres each weighing about six ounces, and having the respective mass chords of B flat, first octave E flat, second octave and B flat, third octave, which all rested on the floor of the container.

"When B flat, first octave was sounded through the transmitter the positive end of which was attached to the cover, the sphere with the corresponding mass chord rose slowly to the top. Upon changing to the negative it descended as gently as it rose. The other spheres moved likewise on sounding their respective mass chords.

"We call this the sphere of the natural; but, when we come to higher workings of natural laws, with which we are not familiar, we designate them as "supernatural;" and scientists witnessing some of Keely's experiments, like those of overcoming gravity, of rotation of the needle of a compass,* of the disintegration of water, etc., and not believing in any workings of laws unknown to them, followed in the footsteps, still unobliterated, of the narrow-minded, bigoted persecutors of Galileo; and have denounced Keely as "a modern Cagliostro." The Scale of Locked Potentials can be applied to the eighteen variables, dimensions or components of the state of matter, energy and motion as presented by Russell. [See Part 9 for additional information on these eighteen variables, dimensions or components.] These variables, dimensions or components are the descriptors of matter, force and energy. By varying these variables, dimensions or components matter, force and energy may be modified. Or the reverse can occur as these variables, dimensions or components are changed so is the matter, force and energy manifesting. (A few additional variables, dimensions or components have been added as it is deemed these would be important and/or useful in certain calculations or considerations.) These variables, dimensions or components of state are a larger set of a thermodynamic state. While standard thermodynamics considers primarily temperature, volume and pressure Russell's variable set of state is more comprehensive and inclusive. It is my opinion Russell (and his readership) would have been better served if he had used the term "variable" or "component" instead of the term "dimension".

"Pianoforte manufacturers have found that the most pleasing tone is excited by the middle strings of their instruments, when the point against which the hammer strikes is from 1/7th to 1/9th of the length of the wire from its extremity. Why should this be the case? Helmhotz has given the answer. Up to the tones which require these points as nodes the overtones all form chords with the fundamental; but the sixth and eighth overtones of the wire do not enter into such chords; they are dissonant tones, and hence the desirability of doing away with them. This is accomplished by making the point at which a node is required that on which the hammer falls. The possibility of the tone forming is thereby shut out, and its injurious effect is avoided." To polarize or create a potential, bias or dipole of syntropic and entropic conditions. The creation of two seeming opposite states under tension and potential as in charging a battery or magnetizing iron into a magnet. A battery is polarized when charged. A piece of iron is polarized when it becomes a magnet.

This is a table of seeming opposing states, conditions, motions or vectors. For dualities of state, condition or cause and effect see Table of Cause and Effect Dualities. [See Celestial and Terrestrial Domains]

"Applying these fundamental laws to an explanation of the universe, as it is brought to human cognition, all manifestations of force may be treated as modes of vibrations. The essential differences give rise to three modes of vibration:

I. The Radiating: called also the "Dispersing", the "Propulsive", the "Positive", and the "Enharmonic".

II. The Focalizing: called also the "Negative", the "Negative Attractive", the "Polarizing", and the "Harmonic".

III. The Dominant: called also the "Etheric", or the "Celestial".

"These, it will be noted, correspond to the three laws of being. It is not to be understood that any one of these three modes of vibration can exist independently. Each by itself is called a "current", and all three must be present in every "stream" or "flow" of force. The relations of the currents in every flow are expressible in thirds, and it is experimentally demonstrable that the relation of the three are in the order named: as 33 1/3 : 66 2/3 : 100. Each of these three directions have an implied influence on each other. This makes three vector directions each having two polar directions of flows in and out. Such communication occurs at the common point of juncture, the central node point or Neutral Center. These directions are labeled as three pairs of opposites: U=up & D=down, E=east & W=west and N=north & S=south. Furthermore, these three directions of activity correspond to the three major modes of vibration; Longitudinal, Transverse and Raleigh. Likewise they correspond to syntropic and entropic motions. Thus creating three major modes in all media/substances. In gases and liquids the three modes are more or less equal. In crystals the three modes are modulated according to certain aliquot parts. The mode structures of crystals would indicate each of the three major modes are in fact each composed of three lesser modes on higher frequency dimensions thus being triple-triple modes or nine altogether. This writer believes this to be the truer state of affairs.

It is held these directions of rotation are not fixed as shown but may be reversed. It is not yet understood under what parameters said direction changes may occur unless derived from a manipulation of the triple-triple mode structure dynamics. Keely was able to reverse a magnetic compass needle and cause it to rotate. This was done by manipulating the Neutral Center and consequently its effects.

Amplitude of Force

The amplitude of vibrations is directly increased or diminished by increasing or diminishing the size or number of creative aggregates.

The human EGO, subject to the forces of love or hate, kindness or cruelty, foregiveness or revenge, is according to circumstances ruled or dominated by these forces in proportion to their intensity.

The intensity of a force is precisely proportionate to the number of units vibrating at that particular pitch. For instance, let fear assail one man, and according to its intensity will be the effect; but let a crowd of men experience fear, see the result in the augmentation of fear, though its source be relatively insignificant. A curtain in a theater, for example, takes fire; one or two persons, cowardly at heart, become afraid through the dominance of the purely animal instinct of bodily preservation; there is actually no real danger, but these two or three persons are sufficient to arouse the unreasoning dread which lies latent in every breast, with perhaps a very few remarkable exceptions. The fire burns nobody; but blind fear, which is extremely contagious among people mutually sympathetic, by reason of the rapidity with which etheric waves transmit all feeling, occasions a terrible panic, during which many severe accidents and many instances of fierce cruelty occur, all because of this sympathetic transfer of feeling starting from one or two augmented or intensified fear-centers, each person being a center emanating the feeling of fear. Were there no counteracting centers of influence in an audience, radiating contrary feelings, the result of a panic would be the total bodily extinction of a very large percentage of the assembled multitude.

Thus the human race is immersed in forces whose intensity is vast in proportion to the number of EGOS adding each its quota to the already intense vibration, tending either to love or hate, kindness or cruelty, timidity or bravery. Those who intensify the force of cruelty in the place where they reside, may be strengthening a murder's hand to strike the deadly blow in a distant land. This result is brought about through the agency of etheric waves, which transmit forces with undiminished intensity even to uncalculated distances. This phenomenon may be termed transympathetic.

They who feel that force called love, which on higher planes is known as sympathy, thrill with waves of force which are already strong, augmenting them or increasing their intensity. They who indulge such sentiments and encourage such forces may stop the falling hand on evil sped.

In order to protect ourselves effectually from becoming the dispensers or propagators of deadly force, we must consciously and deliberately relate ourselves by resolute determination, to awaken within us such centers only as are concordantly sympathetic with all force radiating in the interest of universal goodwill, thereby aiding the establishment of universal brotherhood.

All ye who feel a longing for a better life or nobler existence draw to yourselves streams of force which they alone feel who have attuned their bodies to the higher harmonies. For a moment you feel as they who dwell perpetually in communion with higher harmonies, living immersed in that higher force; they are the true heirophants, and you, O neophytes, struggling to attain the goal which they have reached, do not despair though at present you find yourselves unable to maintain this high altitude for long together. Though you fall many times, be not discouraged, for as yet your organisms and all their centers of resonation are not yet concordant to the focalized vibrations of the higher harmonies; being still related to the mass, you are drawn again and again into the whirlpool of the vibrations which affect the mass, for these you cannot resist. But know that you can change all this rapidly or slowly as your purpose is steadily intense or vacillating.

With the cessation of your lower desires comes the cessation of the action upon you of the lower forces; the resonating centers which formerly distributed this force, no longer active, become latent and are absorbed back to an embryonic condition.

Let him realize fully the transient character of his own personality and contrast therewith his eager longing to know the immortal.

Every man contains, developed or embryonic, all conditions of the Infinite; therefore no height is too great to reach. Impossibility is a meaningless word to the man who apprehends the fathomless contents of his own nature. Thou comest here, O man, with the instrument thou hast graduated in thy many past existences; how few of thy chord-settings, if thou art numbered with the many, respond to the higher harmonies! Universal unity or fraternity has been absorbed to almost embryonic conditions by the prevalence of material self-regard. Charity has been rendered almost latent, that beautiful chord-setting found even in the lowest forms of creation - LOVE, the dominant chord of the cycles. Love has an amplitude of action in the brute which may well make the selfish man ashamed, but until the crust of selfishness is broken through, the beauty of love is obscured, and though it exists all about him, the poor blind egotist has no eye to discern it. The centers of love, brotherhood, charity, voice their music loud and clear, yet the masses will not listen. I do not mean the immortal EGO when I say man will not listen; I refer to the personality which is the resultant of all the ages of action in this, now rapidly closing, cycle.

You who exist to-day, to-morrow would exist no longer in your present personalities did you but dare to yield to these higher harmonies. I say YIELD because it is a yielding process for this personality. In a moment your outer life would end, and you, the warrior, would enter peace.

The immortal EGO is an entity of which man can become thoroughly conscious while here on earth, but to arrive at this consciousness necessitates the entire abandonment of all the petty considerations involved in the transient and subordinate EGO, which is the only self of which the unenlightened man is conscious. Let him who desires to reach this inner consciousness enter his inner sanctuary, wherever that sanctuary may be; it matters not whether it be his own chamber, the open field, the mountain top, the seashore, the stately cathedral, or the humble village chapel. Let him realize fully the transient character of his own personality and contrast therewith his eager longing to know the immortal. Let him concentrate his whole consciousness upon his personality, fully arousing all his personal conditions as a distinct individual; then with all the aspiration of which this personality is capable, let him beseech of the immortal EGO - which is eternal and does not incarnate, but overshadows all incarnations, waiting until one is formed capable of illumination, to whom it may reveal itself - to consider him worthy of illumination, and according to his preparedness to receive illumination will it then be granted. He who asks this, knows not what he asks; for were the prayer answered, life henceforth for such an one would be a weary round, as Hamlet says: "to-morrow and to-morrow and to-morrow brings in this weary round of life"; for, having seen the glory of this immortal EGO, all else seems so base, so commonplace and mean, so inglorious, that oftentimes the personality has utterly collapsed when thrown back from the radiant vision of this glorious immortal entity possessed by all alike, though scarcely dreamed of by any save the very few who, discontented with the ignorance and emptiness of terrene existence, aspire to know the great reality of the supernal. As the incarnations of every entity, passing through certain orders of experience through numerous lives, inevitably culminate in this moment of conscious realization of the immortal entity; the Buddha says: "All shall reach the sunlit snows."

You who through your daily life move on unthinking, not caring, inactive, you shall hear when your supplications reach this high entity, "Lo! thou didst not even try, knowing that even thy failures were acceptable to me."

What causes the radiometer to spin in this set up? This differentiated stream is then divided by the placement of the radiometer as a neutral center point.

Both the plasma ball and the radiometer are under partial vacuum and filled with noble gas. As far as I understand there are several ways to understand it All the sections are equal (1:1:1) so for example if the wire is 3 meter then 1m of Silver, 1m of Gold, 1m of Platinum, all in the same thickness and the 3:6:9 represent the vibration proportions. The wire was constructed as layers. Thus the 1st layer (core) was Silver (or Platinum) the 2nd layer coating the 1st is Gold and the 3rd layer coating the 2nd is Platinum (or silver). This means the layers were equal.
1st layer area = 2nd layer area = 3rd layer area.
 Maybe I got it completely it wrong and the wires sections were according to the 3:6:9 and the thickness of the section is equal. For example a 3 meters 24AWG wire made of 3 sections (all uniform in thickness) – Silver – 0.5M, Gold – 1M, Platinum – 1.5M.

I. In a wave or magnet, the cathode plane of stillness at the center of the polarized body projects spinning light rings towards the two anodes at the poles. Both centripetal vortices are spinning in the same direction, one appears clockwise and the other counterclockwise due to perspective. [See pages 184-185 Atomic Suicide]

This polarization or division of stillness into motion centered by a still gravity shaft (composed of parallel points) is strain of the universal vacuum. This disturbance seeks rest by sex mates or the divided poles reaching out towards their mate in order to reunite and return back to the stillness. If the poles are opposite, the spinning light rings are rotated at 90 degrees to the gravity shaft in the same direction creating attraction. If two poles of the same polarity are faced, their spinning light rings are in opposition creating repulsion because male male or female female can’t void each other.

II. The pulse is the rate of centripetal contraction from the cathode to the anode and the centrifugal expansion is the return of motion back to the cathode origin. The frequency is a numerical representation of this interchange from stillness to maximum motion then back to stillness. Frequency is usually measured in cycles per second. The lower the frequency, the slower the interchange and less speed while the higher the frequency, the faster the interchange and greater the speed. If a wave or magnet has a high electric potential(focalization of motion), the frequency is higher and has a greater ability to attract or repel other electric potentials because the speed is greater. A tornado of great contraction and high speeds has a greater suction capability or attraction. By polarizing iron into a magnet, the tornado like electric vortices have contracted into great speeds able to suck in other polarized bodies with greater force. The same is true for repulsion, the higher the frequency the greater the ability to repel if the polarities are not opposite sex mates.

III. Dr. Bjerknes’ experimental research into the attraction and repulsion (association and dissociation) bodies of motion demonstrated the importance in the direction of an oscillating body relative to the disturbed medium it resides. Keely’s Laws of Being accentuate the experimental evidence of Bjerknes by giving insight into the vibratory ratios of attraction versus repulsion and the causes.

A body oscillating in rhythm moving to and from with another body in unison or a harmonic ratio transmits a disturbance through the medium establishing a path of least resistance causing the two bodies to mutually attract and come together. If the two bodies are oscillating in the same direction, their transmission through the medium causes a greater resistance resulting in mutual repulsion; this is referred to as vibrating in discord by Keely. This shows that the frequencies or pitches of each vibrating bodies is correlated to their oscillatory directions relative to one another. The more concordant the ratio the more the bodies oscillate towards and away from each other, the more discordant the ratio the more the bodies oscillate in the same direction as one another.

The reason is that when the pellet is nearly in the line joining the two poles the north pole of the pellet (according to our supposition) is further from this line than the south one. The angle of action is less; so that although the north pole is further away, the horizontal component of the north pole repulsion may be greater than that of the south pole attraction. Dr. Bjerknes reproduces this experiment causing two drums to pulsate in concord, the one above the other. A pellet fixed to a wire, which is attached by threads to two pieces of cork, is brought between the drums, and it is found impossible to cause it to remain in the centre.”

IV. One of Russell’s explanations for the effects of attraction and repulsion is the principle of Like Seeks Like. This principle displays how different pressure gradients create paths of greatest and least resistance to move bodies together and apart. This idea of like electric potentials seeking one another connects well with Keely’s ideas about sympathetic connectivity. The degree of sympathy or harmonic ratios of the pitches between two bodies develops routes of least resistance or pressure creating attraction or assimilation. The more discordant the pitches are, the greater the pressure difference creating the effects of repulsion.

Bodies vibrating in unison or harmony are pushed or fall towards each other due to the surround pressures of great resistance. Bodies of fast motion or high electric potential seek one another and bodies of slow motion or low electric potential seek one another.

The bobbing up and down of boats in the ocean are a great analogy for the water is the transmissive medium for vibratory disturbances or pressure gradients. If one boat is receiving excentric waves of discord contracting from all directions except one, which is concordant, the boat will be thrust towards the low resistance will move towards the vibrating source of the concordant disturbances (attraction/association). The same is true if a boat is receiving concordant waves from all directions except one, which is discordant, the boat will be thrust away from the high resistance vibrating source (repulsion/dissociation).

V. Implosion and explosion are a vital piece of the attraction repulsion puzzle. Implosion is the uphill force as motion increases or focalizes and power multiplies while explosion is the downhill release or dissipation of motion and power divides.

All bodies are pulsating this implosion explosion interchange like the bobbing boat on the ocean. The concentration of motion from the surrounding environment assimilates all other vibrating bodies to the receiving body through implosion and the decentration of motion from the body assimilates itself to all other bodies of motion. The implosion is the attraction and the explosion is the repulsion. Implosion contracts or inducts and explosion expands or conducts motion.

Implosion explosion is the pulsating or interchanging process that accumulates bodies of motion (matter) and then dissipates them back to their still origins (inert gases). This oscillatory pulse fuels a body to complete the two halves (life and death) of the one cycle. Life being the preponderantly attractive half where a body of motion accumulates motion from concordant bodies, death being the preponderantly repulsive half where a body of motion dissipates motion to concordant bodies.

The first four aspects of motion are the pieces or parts to the entire pulsating process of implosion-explosion. This is what Russell refers to as the oscillation of the cosmic piston, from the expanded end of stillness to the compressed end of motion and the return back to stillness.

During the life half of a body, power is multiplied and is seen as an accumulation of motion through attraction. Although motion is not accumulated because motion or electric strain does not transfer from one cubic wave field to another. Only the disturbance is transmitted or relayed(radar principle/reversal), which retunes the receptive cubic wave field creating a balanced interchange. The vibrating source explodes or conducts a disturbance and the receiving body implodes or inducts the disturbance.

The greater the polarization, the greater the contraction resulting in an increase of speed of motion and frequency. Waves do not move, but their disturbances are transmitted to alter the pitches of concordant receptive bodies. This means that implosion or the uphill force is the receiving of strain of the universal vacuum, which integrates and increased frequency and power. The explosion is the transmitting of strain, which disintegrates and decreases frequency.

The death half of the cycle has a preponderance of explosion, which transmits strain and lowers frequency and electric potential by conducting its information of motion to concordant receivers. This downhill release of disturbance is the dissipation of motion by repulsion. This thrusts all other bodies away from it, but concordant bodies to a lesser degree.

Russell example of an apple falling to the Earth and then away from the earth is a great example for preponderances of implosion and explosion. The cause being the position of the body relative to the gravity shaft of the cubic wave field, which corresponds with attractive and repulsion tendencies.

The apple tree implodes or inducts the disturbance or electric motion from concordant bodies radiating in the environment to compress an apple into a high electric potential. The Earth, sun, and other environmental transmitters fuel this growth. This can be seen as attraction. After maturity, the apple falls from the tree and seeks its like potential the Earth. This is a sympathetic or harmonic relationship causing attraction. As the apple moves through the death half of its cycle, it radiates or expands its accumulated strain by conductive preponderance to its environment. The previously high frequency, high electric potential apple begins to lower its frequency and electric potential repelling its surroundings to different degrees by creating new pressure gradients. Once the apple has sufficiently exploded (decayed/expanded), its frequencies are more discordant to the Earth and more concordant to the expanded pressures of space and falls towards the pressures of least resistance. Transmission of motion is returned to the environment to restart a new cycle.

Nature uses inert gases as expanded,vacuous states of low pressure or potential to ignite this implosion inducting disturbance from surrounding bodies of greater electric potentials. Then becoming a high electric potential, the body relays its disturbance to low potential cubic wave fields by conducting disturbance or explosion. This is Russell’s giving and regiving. This is attraction and repulsion in sequential preponderance. This interaction can be seen with temperature and pressure differences. A lit candle of fast motion explodes (radiates/expands) throughout a cold room of slow motion to find equilibrium with the most concordant receivers inducting the most. An ice cube in a hot room implodes (electric contraction) inducting disturbances from concordant transmitting bodies in its surrounding environment.

All bodies are simultaneously attract and repel all other bodies to different degrees, preponderances to grow and die alter their pitches. Even though bodies desire to seek like bodies to find equilibrium, preponderances of attraction (implosion) and repulsion (explosion) cause perpetual transformation of motion as bodies move through their cycles of life and death.
