discovery

noun: the process of learning something that was not known before, or of finding someone or something that was missing or hidden
noun: something that is found, or something new that is learned

James Dewar
Professor Sir James Dewar of the Royal Institution of Great Britain, wrote in 1890: If Mr. Keely succeeds in making his discovery practically useful, as it is said he is demonstrating his ability to do - if this information be true, it is strange to contrast the past history of science with the present. Fancy the discoverer of electricity having succeeded in inventing the modern dynamo machine! This would mean the concentration of hundreds of years of scientific discovery and invention into the single life of one man. Such a result would be simply marvelous. [Professor Sir James Dewar], [Keely Supported by Eminent Men of Science]

“The real voyage of discovery consists not in seeking new landscapes but in having new eyes.” [Marcel Proust (July 10th, 1871–Nov. 18th 1922)]

Leonardo da Vinci
“If you find from your own experience that something is a fact and it contradicts what some authority has written down, then you must abandon the authority and base your reasoning on your own findings.” [Leonardo da Vinci]

Keely
Keely pursued the line of "invention" instead of "discovery" from 1872, and his thoughts were thus concentrated until 1882. Engine after engine was scrapped as old metal, in his failures to construct one that would keep up the rotary motion of the ether that was necessary to hold it in any structure. Explosion after explosion occurred, sometimes harmless, at other times laying him up for weeks. He spent two more years endeavoring to devise an automatic control to enable the machine for liberating the energy to be handled by an operator and in 1884 he stated he was commencing to make real progress. [Snell Manuscript - The Book, page 2]

"For ten years Keely's demonstrations were confined to the liberation, at will, of the energy he had "stumbled over" while experimenting on vibrations in 1872; and his efforts were put forth for the construction of "the perfect engine," which he had promised to the Keely Motor Company. He made the mistake of pursuing his researches on the line of invention instead of discovery. All his thoughts were concentrated in this direction up to the year 1882. Engine after engine was abandoned and sold as old metal, in his repeated failures to construct one that would keep up the rotary motion of the ether that was necessary to hold it in any structure. Explosion after explosion occurred, sometimes harmless to him, at other times laying him up for weeks at a time.

Two more years were lost in efforts to devise an automatic arrangement, which should enable the machine, invented by Keely for liberating the energy, to be handled by any operator, and it was not until 1884 that steady progress was seen, from years to years, as the result of his enlarged researches. When Keely was asked, at this time, how long he thought it would be before he would have the engine he was then at work upon ready to patent, he illustrated his situation by an anecdote: "A man fell down, one dark night, into a mine; catching a rope in his descent, he clung to it until morning. With the first glimpse of daylight, he saw that had he let go his hold of the rope he would have had but a few inches to fall. I am precisely in the situation of that man. I do not know how near success may be nor yet how far off it is."

August 5th, 1885, the New York Home Journal announced that Keely had imprisoned the ether; and, as was then wrongly supposed, that the unknown force was the ether itself; not the medium of the force, as it is now known to be." [Bloomfield-Moore] [Ether the True Protoplasm]

Schauberger
Uncanny experiences in a high alpine reserve almost untouched by human hand and a perhaps extraordinary gift for observation of Nature led to the discovery that a mysterious current lies hidden in the media of air

[4] This also applies to the English language. — Ed.

The first person, who had unconsciously to grapple with this disastrous development, was Galilei, whose discovery that the Earth itself moved, caused an immense uproar in secular and religious scientific circles. Galilei was forced to recant, although he recanted his recantation shortly before his death. This he did at a moment when he could no longer be harmed by those, who like past dictators used similar means to torture those whose opinion differed from theirs, believing they could re-instill faith through the agonies of torture. His opponents, however, who were just as dangerous as they were ruthless, had practically no alternative but to acknowledge this new fact. [The Energy Evolution - Harnessing Free Energy from Nature, The Life-Current in Air and Water]

Curiously enough, since then apparently no scientifically trained individual has bothered about the causes of the mysterious motion of this dung-heap Earth, and the purpose of its exceptional form of motion. This disinterest, however, was only feigned. In reality, since Galilei's discovery, people were very much on their guard in order to avert the immeasurable repercussions resulting from the revelation of: 'Why' does the Earth ceaselessly rotate about her own peculiar system of axes in an unstable state of equilibrium in so-called free space in very particular looping movements in defiance of the laws of gravity? [The Energy Evolution - Harnessing Free Energy from Nature, The Life-Current in Air and Water]

It is common knowledge that Galilei discovered this motion and because of it, suffered a veritable martyrdom. Up to now nobody has been able to explain why secular and religious science were so hugely disturbed by this discovery. Since then there has no longer been any doubt that the Earth rotates about its own axis. Why it does so, and what purpose is served by this peculiar inclined, gyrating motion, which oscillates to and fro along two different axes has so far never been explained.[5] [The Energy Evolution - Harnessing Free Energy from Nature, The Economy Founded on Reactively Produced Energy]

We are therefore not only faced with the birth of water, but also with the determination of the gender of the birth product. From the sum total of these experiments arose a discovery, whose implications first become evident, when we consider that it opens the way to produce water - the blood of the Earth - in any desired quantity and quality naturalesquely and in addition to pass on the desired properties to the evolutionally-older new-born entity. Water pipelines are therefore no longer necessary in order make what is nothing less than the most noble water available in the middle of treeless deserts or salt-water wastes. This not only ingeniously solves the problem of living space for a constantly increasing population, but also that of food shortages.
