Sympathetic Vibration – Core Concept 2
Return to Core Concepts of Sympathetic Vibratory Physics
This page is part of the Semantic Spine of Sympathetic Vibratory Physics, defining one of the primary dynamic forces by which the universe organizes, transmits, and transforms energy and information.
Definition
Sympathetic Vibration is the resonant response of one vibratory system to another that shares a harmonious frequency relationship. When two bodies are tuned to the same or near-matching frequency, a motion in one induces a corresponding motion in the other — even across space, substance, or medium.
In SVP, it is the key mechanism by which force is transferred, consciousness is transmitted, and matter is structured. Unlike simple mechanical resonance, Sympathetic Vibration operates on the principle of coherent unison, not just forced oscillation.
Function
Enables energy transmission without loss, through sympathetic tuning
Underlies molecular bonding, etheric transfer, and scalar coupling
Powers many of Keely’s devices, including the Dynasphere, through tuning forks, resonators, and musical interval interactions
Allows the linking of minds, matter, or systems across distance through shared vibratory identity
It is the carrier wave of cohesion, coherence, and communication throughout the universe.
Synonyms
Mutual Resonance
Resonant Coupling
Vibratory Unison
Harmonic Induction
Concordant Response
Sympathetic Oscillation (closely related but distinct in SVP)
Primary Laws
Law of Mentalism (when applied to mind-matter coherence)
Historical References
John Keely: Demonstrated Sympathetic Vibration as the core power principle in his machines. Used tuned resonators, chords of mass, and musical scales to initiate motion in distant or sealed chambers. See: Keely Motor, Sympathetic Transfer
Walter Russell: Spoke of resonance between polar pairs and the rhythmic interchange of light units. All matter is a result of tuned vibratory conditions.
Ramsay: Outlined harmonic ratios in music as the architecture of physical and vibratory structure.
Blavatsky, Cayce, and Quimby referenced resonance between souls, thoughts, and forms in healing and transmutation.
