A geometrical proposition variously defined, as.
A proposition deduced from some other demonstrated proposition; corollary.
A proposition that uncovers the possibility of finding such conditions as to make a specific problem capable of innumerable solutions.
(geometry) A proposition affirming the possibility of finding such conditions as will render a certain determinate problem indeterminate or capable of innumerable solutions.
