Syllogism

noun: deductive reasoning in which a conclusion is derived from two (or more) premises. OneLook Dictionary

The Conclusion can only be as accurate as the Premises are accurate.

These techniques while appearing very simple are quite powerful in sorting through illusion to truth. It takes practice to use these properly and beneficially.

If A equals B and
B equals C then
A equals C.


If it walks like a duck,
quacks like a duck then
it must be a duck.
