Keelys Lost Books

Keely has written three treatises (in 1891?, 1893?) to explain his three systems, the titles of which are as follows:

Keely
The secret of Keely's instruments died with him. These notes were made from books written by Keely himself, found in an old library. The books have since disappeared. The compiler of the notes is Mr. C.W. Snell, 10301 W. Fort St., Detroit, Michigan. illegible signature, 1934 [hand written on front page of manuscript] [Snell Manuscript - The Book]

"When my theoretical expose is finished and brought out, I shall be ready for the attacks that will be made upon it, and able to demonstrate what I assert. One would think that modern physicists, knowing the lesson taught by the disastrous overthrow of the primitive system of astronomy, would be somewhat cautious in reference to jeering at any announcement of scientific research, however preposterous, without first carefully weighing its claims. It is my belief that there are many to-day who occupy positions as professors in our colleges and in universities abroad, who for bigotry and ignorance can discount the opinion of the religionists of the dark ages; but those to whom has been given mental force to boldly investigate new truths in science may congratulate themselves upon the fact that there are investigators of truth who are not afraid to acknowledge its claims, in whatever garb it may appear, welcoming whatever new message it may have to deliver. . . ." [Keely in More Science]

"These volumes are to be published by the Lippincott Publishing Company, of Philadelphia, as soon as Keely has completed his mechanical work.''" [Keelys Secrets - Part 2 - One Phase of Keelys Discovery in Its Relation to the Cure of Disease]

"Mr. Keely writes, "There is no language that can give any idea of the intense cold of the impulses emanating from this orb of day. All the thermal conditions are brought about by different orders of molecular activity, induced by sympathetic streams of three different conditions." In his "Expose," Mr. Keely calls these streams the "triune rays of Infinity.'" [COMMENTS OF JOHN WORRELL KEELY ON DR SCHIMMELS LECTURE]

"Not long since, Canon Wilberforce asked Keely what would become of his discovery and his inventions in case of his death before they became of commercial value to the public. Keely replied that he had written thousands of pages, which he hoped would, in such an event, be mastered by some mind capable of pursuing his researches to practical ends; but in the opinion of the writer, there is no man living who is fitted for this work." [Bloomfield-Moore in The Key to the Problems. - Keelys Secrets]

"When my present process of adjustment is completed, the force, the mechanism and all that pertains, will be fully explained in a theoretical exposition ... with appropriate diagrams ..." He has not succeeded in governing speed or stopping reversions. [Snell Manuscript - The Book, page 3]

"When will you announce thls formally to the scientific world, with explanation of its principles - the principles that underlie your new force?" I asked.

"That will be in my book. I am at work at present on two books; the one which will announce my force to the scientific world will contain from 1500 to 2000 pages, with fifty or sixty charts, describing the whole thing symbolitically [sic]. It will appear in 1891." [Keelys Secret - He Explains His Mystic Force]

"The inventor's wife claims that he left a manuscript of 2000 pages with her, explaining the whole system and the work he has done." [WAS KEELY A GREAT INVENTOR OR GREAT IMPOSTOR]

NOTE: To my knowledge none of these three remarkable books have ever been found as of 12/2023, 132 years later - although I have heard unconfirmed rumors as to their existence. I have also heard unconfirmed rumors of other books not listed above. See Bibliography for articles we have found written by Keely. Dale Pond
